Be HUEmane exists at the intersection of travel and education. We create meaningful, culturally immersive travel experiences that educate, advance, and empower people of all hues.
Our journeys connect travelers to the people, places, stories, and traditions influenced by the African diaspora. Through curated group travel, heritage experiences, and customized itineraries, we help travelers move beyond sightseeing to gain a deeper understanding of culture, history, identity, and global connection.

Our name joins hue (a color or shade) and humane (showing compassion). Too often, certain shades are left out of what the world calls humane. Be HUEmane travel exists to change that, connecting people across differences and uplifting the communities we visit.​

BALI
This 9 day experience was the first hosted escape. We fell in love with Bali’s food, culture, and people. We had the pleasure of visiting the country during Nypei ( Balinese new year) and had a real cultural experience. We partnered with the Jodie O’shea orphanage for this experience. From hiking, to elephant riding, and getting climbed on by monkeys, this was an unforgettable experience.
ECUADOR
We spent the 4th of July in Ecuador, a country that most of us never think of traveling to. It was an unforgettable experience. We partnered with the Mashikuna organization and enjoyed spending the day with the villagers farming. We had the opportunity to visit the Mindo cloud forest, the Quilotoa loop, and the famous Otavalo maker just to name a few of our exciting activities.

CAMBODIA
This escape was jammed packed with fun. We visited three different cities and received a really authentic Cambodian cultural experience. We partnered with the Together1heart foundation, an organization that is fighting sexual slavery in the region, during this escape. This was truly a great experience.
We donated over $500 to the Together1Heart foundation.
